Charlie Coetzee – Centre Manager
Charlie supported an elderly relative with vascular dementia for over eight years. Through this hands-on experience, she gained a deep understanding of the challenges of caring for someone with dementia. Motivated by this experience we established The Birch Dementia Day Centre, which is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support for those living with dementia. We understand the importance of self-care and the need for caregivers to take time for themselves, and we strive to provide a shoulder to lean on for those facing the challenges of living with dementia.
Vicky Turner – Activities Manager
Vicky brings a wealth of experience and expertise to The Birch Dementia Day Centre. Having worked in a variety of settings including residential care, schools, and the community. She holds a Level 4 care qualification and a Level 3 counselling qualification. Her passion is to provide opportunities that promote social inclusion and enhance the well-being of our members.
Gina Baird – Finance Manager
Gina is proud to bring over 15 years of experience in the private care industry to our team. Throughout her career, She has gained a wide range of expertise in the field of health and social care management, including a foundation degree in the subject. Her passion is to provide personalized care and support that enhances the quality of life for individuals living with dementia.
